A woman who is six inches taller than her husband has revealed people often mistake her partner for her son but she’s fed up with nasty comments from trolls.

Jesika, 30, from Arizona, stands at 5ft 7in and her taller stance sees her grabbing things off the shelves for 5ft 1in husband Hunter, 31.

The couple met back in 2020 and married just two years later.

Despite being ‘a little shocked’ at their height difference at first, Jesika fell head over heels for her future hubby within just a few days of meeting him.

Not only does she tower above him but she’s also the ‘big spoon’ in bed and happily jokes about having to ‘move the car seat back’ after Hunter, who is a personal trainer, drives the car.

Jesika, 30, and her husband Hunter, 31, from Arizona shared their large height difference revealing that Jesika is six inches taller than her 5ft 1in husband

The two met in 2020 and married in 2022 and Jesika said that people often mistake Hunter for her son and that she’s fed up with the nasty comments from trolls

Despite their happy relationship, the couple are frequently the butt of jokes with people constantly commenting on their height difference, both online and offline.

‘I’ve had friends and other people ask me why I’m with someone so much shorter than me,’ Jesika said.

‘We’ve gotten comments asking if he’s my son or if I need a real man.’

And Jesika said that people online often use her and Hunter’s large height difference to try to make a move on her.

‘I’m barely taller than average for a female,’ she said.

‘But some of the worst come from men who they think they’d be a better partner for me, telling me they could please me better or be what I need.

‘It’s not their relationship and it doesn’t concern them. We’re happy and that’s all that matters.’

Although Hunter is happy in his relationship and wouldn’t change a thing, he noted that the nasty comments do tend to get to him.

Hunter added: ‘The most common [comment] is just any jokes about my height.

‘If you make jokes about someone’s weight, it’s terrible and of course it is. But everyone feels like it’s OK to make fun of height like it’s no big deal. I’ve lived like this for my entire life.

‘All of the people I’ve dated before have been much taller than me, so it’s never bothered me.

‘I’ve just always been more concerned about how the other person feels about it.’

Aside from cruel jibes, people often make assumptions about the couple’s sex life too.

But Jesika says height makes no difference in the bedroom and she is having the ‘best sex ever’.

She said: ‘Aren’t we all the same lying down? In fact, some positions are a lot easier with Hunter being short.

‘Honestly, it’s probably the best sex I’ve ever had.

Hunter said that the most common comments from trolls are in regards to his height, he added that people have made cruel comments about his height all his life ‘like it’s no big deal’

The couple began sharing their relationship to their over 58,000 followers on TikTok and said that they were hoping to tackle the stigma attached to mixed height relationships

‘The first time meeting Hunter was a little bit of a shock but I knew he was much shorter and I obviously didn’t mind.

‘It still took a second when I saw him in person for the first time but within two days and realizing how much I truly liked being with him, it didn’t matter anymore.’

‘People expect Hunter to make his height his entire personality but he’s just another normal person.

‘He just grew out, not up.’

The pair got married in February 2022 and are now loving life as man and wife, sharing their journey on TikTok, where they have over 58,000 followers.

They hope that sharing their life together will help tackle the stigma attached to mixed height relationships.
