A RESIDENT has told how she's trapped at home due to nosy workmen who peer into her garden from a building site next door.
Carole Frith, 74, said living next to the material storage site is "hell", with builders poking their noses into her garden over a low partition wall.
And she claims the "noisy" workers clatter around at all hours – often waking her up as at 7am in Walthamstow, London.
Desperate Carole has asked the builders to keep it down and mind their own business, but was accused of "making a fuss out of nothing".
She claims the ordeal has left her feeling "trapped" in her house as she sees the builders constantly.
Carole told My London: "We can't use the garden with the generator running. It's so noisy. We have lorries continually delivering stuff, the workman banging around in the cabins waking us up at 7am, it's hell.

"I've been fighting like mad but it feels like the people [the workers] are laughing at me.
"They don't understand how it's impacting my life. No matter where I am in my house, it feels like I am trapped because I constantly see them.
"I feel really closed in. I send emails three times a day to the council and hear nothing."
Waltham Forest Council claim the patch of land is being used for 12 months to store materials which will be used for planned works to improve council tenants’ kitchens and bathrooms across the borough.

A spokesperson said notice of the council's intention to use the land was given to residents in advance.
But Carole claims that wasn't enough notice – and claims the community have now lost their green space for kids to play on.
"Sending a letter a week in advance is not advising us when this is our communal area," Carole added.
"My husband only has our garden and pond to be able to go outside and enjoy due to his knee replacement.
"He's basically housebound because of this generator.
"I'm 75, he's 76 and they're taking another year out of the years we have left."
A Waltham Forest Council spokesperson said: “An area of council-owned land on Arkley Road is being used for 12 months to store materials for planned works to improve council tenants’ kitchens and bathrooms across the borough, as part of the decent homes programme.
