Inside Danielle Armstrong’s family life with Tommy Edney as they announce pregnancy with second child

Former TOWIE star Danielle Armstrong has announced that she's pregnant with her second child.

On Tuesday, Danielle, 34, took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy alongside a short compilation video of herself that featured her daughter Orla and her husband, Tom Edney, 33.

Danielle and Tom are already parents to two year old Orla, who Danielle says "is going to be the most amazing big sister".

Orla Mae was born during lockdown in May 2020 after Danielle announced her pregnancy in November 2019.

Tom and Danielle got engaged in March during a babymoon to Dubai, with Danielle sharing an image of the couple on a boat with her 1.2million followers as she wrote: "Feel Like The Luckiest Girl In The World Right Now… I SAID YES."

Danielle and construction company director Tom tied the knot in a stunning ceremony in Hertfordshire on Saturday 27 August 2022.

When Danielle and Tom started secondary school in 1999, they could never have imagined that more than two decades later they’d be husband and wife.

The couple were friends for eight years before their relationship blossomed into romance, but they didn’t make it official until August 2019.

They exclusively shared their wedding day with OK!, including all the beautiful photographs and emotional moments.

Their big day was attended by 100 guests including Danielle's TOWIE co-stars.

Danielle had six bridesmaids – Ferne McCann, Terri Smith, Sophie Langton, Gemma Edwards, Kayleigh Hagger and her maid of honour, sister Lannen Ovenden. Orla also had a very special role on the day, as their flower girl.

Speaking on Instagram stories after she confirmed the happy news of her second pregnancy, Danielle confessed that she told everyone she would like to have baby number two after their wedding.

She said: "I didn't make it a secret to anyone that after we got married I was like, 'We probably will try. I'd love to have a baby this year.'"

Their second little bundle of joy is due summer 2023.
