Inside Emmerdales Chloe actress Jessie Ellands life off-screen including lavish holidays

Emmerdale star Jessie Elland joined the cast of the ITV soap as character Chloe Harris during lockdown in 2021.

Jessie, whose character is the sister of Gemma Harris, the donor of Sarah Sugden's heart transplant, revealed at the time how she filmed a self-tape at home alongside her mum for the role before she was invited into the studio for her first in-person audition.

The soap star, from Yarm, North Yorkshire, has garnered almost 10,000 Instagram followers where she has given a sneak peek behind the scenes of Emmerdale.

When she first joined the cast of the iconic soap, Jessie shared a snap from a window overlooking the fictional village of Emmerdale before posing in an ITV gilet as she prepared for a day of filming.

Despite landing the role, Jessie has previously revealed how "drama school wasn't really an option" and described that she studied Anthropology at the University of Manchester before she switched to drama.

These days, she's really getting stuck into her role, and is currently involved in a very dramatic storyline.

In Thursday night's episode, she gave birth to Mackenzie's son, Reuben, following the pair's one night stand last year. Meanwhile, as Chloe was giving birth, Mack was marrying Charity Dingle, who is still none the wiser about the baby.

However, the show's bosses have promised that the wedding would be "explosive," so fans are wondering whether Charity will learn of Mack's infidelity during the reception.

Since joining Emmerdale, Jessie has been keeping her fans in the loop when it comes to her personal life, too.

From sharing party snaps on her gram to updating her followers on what she's reading at the minute, the young actor's social media offers a tiny snapshot into what she gets up to when she's not acting.

Jessie even recently appeared on fellow ITV show, Lorraine, to chat to host Lorraine Kelly about all things Chloe and Emmerdale.

Posting two snaps of her in the studios – one in front of a sign directing her to the show, plus Loose Women, she also shared a pic of her sipping from a Lorraine coffee mug.

"Such a lovely time today chatting to @lorraine about all things @emmerdale ! Tune in to itv @ 7:30 tonight to see me looking decidedly less glam," she captioned the carousel, referencing the stunning green maxi dress she was wearing at the time, which was complemented by a touch of red lipstick.

Other recent notable life moments include a trip to Munich in Germany, plus a Paris stop-off, where Jessie jokingly apologised to her followers for her French.

In light of this, the actor looked as though she was living her best life in both getaways, posing with two steins of beer at Germany's Oktoberfest, and sharing a shot of the iconic Eiffel Tower during her holiday to France.

Back in 2021, when she first arrived in the village, Jessie revealed her first impressions of the Emmerdale set and told ITV: "The first time I set foot in the Emmerdale studios all I could think of was how it reminded me of a very complex and detailed IKEA!

"All the sets are next to each other in a huge maze of rooms and I was in awe at the attention to detail in each set."

Jessie also described how she has 'similarities' with her character Chloe and added: "I think we both really value sisterhood; Chloe was very close to her sister Gemma and there's an almost sisterly dynamic that develops between Chloe and Sarah, I think I have a determined streak like her too."
