Inside Rebecca Ferguson’s life including rarely-seen baby and new husband Jonny Hughes

Rebecca Ferguson shot to fame back in 2010 when she appeared as a hopeful on the seventh series of The X Factor.

She ended up wowing the voting public at home and finished in second place, just behind winner Matt Cardle.

Despite being just pipped to the post, Rebecca was still able to establish a prominent career as an entertainer.

She released her debut album Heaven at the end of 2011 and it rocketed to number three in the charts.

Rebecca, who is a proud mum of four, would go on to release four subsequent albums before entering what she called a period of “semi retirement” from 2020, as she decided to take some time away from the spotlight to focus on raising her four kids and enjoying life as a newlywed.

Rebecca married her partner of seven years, sports agent Jonny Hughes, in December 2022.

The pair said I do at the luxurious Dorchester Hotel, a five star hotel based in central London.

At the time, Rebecca called it her “dream wedding venue” and shared that she had been eyeing it up as a potential wedding destination since she was a little girl.

Explaining how she knew her longtime beau was “the one”, Rebecca said: “I could be myself around him.”

Rebecca’s big day was attended by her three oldest kids – Lillie, 19, Karl, 17, and nine year old Arabella.

Rebecca shares her two eldest children with her ex of four years, Karl Dures, who she met before she was famous while enjoying a holiday in Tenerife.

It’s not known who nine year old Arabella’s dad is as Rebecca has kept his identity under wraps.

However, she did share that he left her when he found out she was expecting.

A furious Rebecca admitted that she was “heartbroken” and had “an awful feeling of shame” around the whole thing.

“The way I was treated was wrong,” Rebecca said, before adding that she still considered her beloved daughter Arabella to be “a gift from God.”

In February 2023, Rebecca welcomed her fourth child with new husband Jonny.

She had kept her entire pregnancy a secret and only announced the happy news after the birth.

“Surprise! I can keep a secret,” the star wrote on her social media, before revealing that her newest addition was “born on Valentines’ Day.”

She has yet to share the name of her youngest with her fans, and only shared the first ever public picture of the top in April 2023.
