Jamie Foxx is ‘awake and alert’ in hospital after medical emergency

Nick Cannon will replace Jamie Foxx on his game show “Beat Shazam,” according to TMZ.

“Nick will take over the hosting duties of the popular FOX gameshow [and] Kelly Osbourne will work as the show’s DJ,” the outlet reported Wednesday.

Reps for Osbourne, 38, and Cannon, 42, did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Filming has resumed without the “Django Unchained” star, who has been hospitalized with a mystery illness for almost a month.

The actor’s daughter Corrine Foxx – who previously worked as the show’s DJ – has also been absent from filming and won’t be returning.

Speculation that Cannon and Osbourne would be taking over the roles began Wednesday when the “Osbournes” alum posted a snap of a folder via her Instagram Stories, which read, “Day 1 Info Pack.”

The new mom also shared a video of herself in a DJ booth on the game show set.

The show, which premiered in 2017, features a live studio audience, which could be seen in the background, while an emcee could also be heard introducing the “Wild ‘n Out” star.

The news comes less than one month after the “Ray” actor, 55, suffered a “medical complication” and was rushed to hospital.

“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” Corinne, 29, wrote on Instagram at the time. “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

Jamie was filming “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz at the time. However, production resumed just days later with a body double for the A-lister.

Two weeks later, a source told People that the funnyman was “awake and alert.” His family has yet to disclose his diagnosis.

Just last month, Jamie was believed to have suffered a “meltdown” on the set of his upcoming action flick, and reportedly sacked four people.

He was said to have thrown a “tantrum” and axed an executive producer, two directors and his driver on the Seth Gordon-directed flick, per The Sun.

A separate report from the outlet claimed he was also the target of a $40,000 scam, which caused production on the “nightmare” film set to stop while an investigation was opened up.
