Jeremy Allen White’s estranged wife Addison Timlin updated her Instagram caption from “single mom” to “co-parent” after receiving backlash for using the former term to describe her new relationship status.

The “Californication” actress, who is in the process of divorcing “The Bear” star, posted a lengthy caption to Instagram detailing the trials and tribulations of raising kids without a “witness” by her side.

“Being a single mom is not how I pictured it. It is so f–king hard,” Timlin began her caption. “It is all out covered in s–t crying on the floor kick you in the shins screaming with no sound coming out hard.”

However, hours later, she updated it to read, “Co-parent is not how I pictured it.”

It appears the actress had a change of heart after commenters flooded her post.

“There is a difference between being a single mom and being a mom that is single,” commented one follower.

“Calling yourself a single mom acting like he isn’t in the picture wether [sic] you guys are or aren’t together is childish,” wrote another.

“even if yall r splitting u aren’t a single mom? they literally have a dad? he’s just busy? lmfao…. this gives me weird passive aggressive vibes,” commented another.

“Single mom is a bit of a stretch, my dear. He’s going to keep paying, working, and supporting those kids,” another follower wrote. “You’re just single and a complete overshare on social.”

White, 32, hasn’t commented on the post.

Timlin, 31, filed for divorce from the “Shameless” alum last week after nearly three years of marriage. The reason for the split remains unclear, as the court documents didn’t indicate a specific cause.

The estranged couple tied the knot in an intimate courthouse ceremony in June 2019 after first meeting as teenagers.

They share two daughters, 4-year-old Ezer and 2-year-old Dolores.
