Jessica Simpson showed off her fit figure while out to dinner with her husband, Eric Johnson, over the weekend in Santa Monica, Calif.
Photographers caught the “Irresistible” singer, 42, looking svelte in a black and red dress as she walked into Giorgio Baldi, where she enjoyed a romantic date night with the former NFL player, 43.
Simpson paired her formfitting frock with a black trench coat and matching boots, while Johnson rocked a casual T-shirt, jeans and a blue flannel jacket.
The couple’s outing comes months after the pop star-turned-fashion designer revealed that she shed 100 pounds in 2019 with the help of a nutritionist.
“I went to a nutritionist, and I needed to get my eating habits right,” Simpson told “Extra” in September 2022, revealing the secret behind her dramatic slim-down.
The mom of three — who shares kids Maxwell, 10, Ace, 9, and Birdie, 3, with Johnson — added that she “absolutely” feels healthy after getting in back in shape.
“I feel like my old self before I had children and all the hormones going wild. I feel younger, actually,” she explained to the outlet.
“I have a lot more energy and yeah, I get to wear all the clothes that are in storage that I saved for Maxwell and Birdie. Maybe Birdie will outgrow them because Maxwell has already outgrown me!”
Since dropping the weight, Simpson has frequently flaunted her fit figure in tiny swimsuits and skimpy shorts in sizzling social media shots.
The “Open Book” author, who has struggled with her weight and body image issues in the past, told the “Today” show in April 2021 that she threw out her scale.
“I threw it out,” she said at the time, joking that it was like having an Ouija board in church. “[I have] no idea how much I weigh.”
Simpson also said that she has learned to love her body no matter the size.
“I always celebrate my body. The fact that it made children is unreal,” she marveled, “but you just don’t ever think you’re going to fit back into things. It’s crazy. A woman’s body is phenomenal in what it can do.”
