John Lewis launches early Black Friday deals to help spread cost of Christmas

John Lewis is bringing some joy to our wallets as the retailer is launching its Black Friday promotions early.

The deals are coming slightly earlier this year in a bid to help customers spread the cost of Christmas.

Its hiring 2,000 temporary Partners in stores and 4,000 staff across its distribution network to support the busy periods.

Now John Lewis launched its Black Friday event on November 4.

Starting earlier than previous years, shoppers can snap up compelling offers across its technology and fragrance ranges.

Other categories, including home, fashion and beauty will follow in coming weeks.

Kathleen Mitchell, Commercial Director for John Lewis, said: "We're launching Black Friday earlier than ever this year, with hundreds of fantastic deals to support customers looking to save money and start their Christmas shopping early.

"We know that, despite the rising cost of living, our customers still want to celebrate Christmas, so our teams and suppliers have worked incredibly hard to make sure we can offer our customers great value deals on the products they love.

"With new deals being launched daily, we'd encourage shoppers to keep an eye on our website and shops over the coming weeks, so they don't miss out."

Many Black Friday offers will run up to and include December 1, 2022.

Customers can enjoy free delivery on orders over £50, or benefit from the ease of collecting John Lewis parcels from one of the many Click & Collect points, including Co-op, Shell as well as Waitrose shops.

John Lewis introduced its Christmas returns policy earlier this year, allowing customers to buy from September and still exchange up until January 28, 2023.

Also it recently launched its FashionCycle scheme for pre-loved clothes, which rewards My John Lewis members with £5 off any fashion or home purchase when they donate five pre-loved clothing items.

Tech Offers

There's hundreds of products on offer across Mobile, Camera & Smart Tech and great savings within Computing & Gaming. Save up to £400 on selected TVs, £100 off selected Dyson Vacuum cleaners.

Fragrance Offers

Save up to 20% off selected fragrance. The likes of YSL, Prada, Guerlain, Maison Margiela, and Acqua Di Parma will have 20% off full price lines, with Lancôme, Clarins and Estée Lauder all offering high-value gifts with purchase.
