Kate Middleton wears Balmain Blazer at Wimbledon – get the look for less | The Sun

KATE MIDDLETON never fails to impress with her sartorial looks, and her latest Wimbledon look is another hit.

The Princess of Wales opted for a chic court-side white ensemble and mint green blazer, which was very 80s-esque, as she watched Katie Boulter go head to head with Daria Saville recently.

For the tournament, Kate – who is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) wore a pleated midi skirt, which proved the ball game can inspire fashion off the court, as well as a mint green blazer with white lapels.

The oversized double-breasted blazer, with epic shoulder pads, is from the designer label Balmain but comes with a hefty price tag.

She paired the look with a white Mulberry bag, and Gianvito Rossi heeled pumps to complete the look for a chic fresh spring look.

Kate's exact designer blazer has sold out and is unavailable to buy, although some Balmain blazers can fetch over £2,500 on Net-A-Porter, so we're assuming the Princess' look is not far off that price.

We think it's safe to say that's a hell of a lot for a blazer and a sum we can't justify splurging.

However, we have found some more affordable, yet equally stylish, blazers so you can achieve the royal look without breaking the bank – you can thank us later.

River Island, M&S and Nobody's Child are just some of our go-to retailers we can head to to find similar alternatives to Kate's outerwear piece.

Not only can you pair a blazer with numerous outfits, and wear it for almost any occasion, whether it is the office, drinks, or date night, but you can also style it a number of ways.

Prince William's wife wore her blazer buttoned up for a chic, tailored look, and to show off the epic shoulder detail.

However, you can choose to wear a blazer open so your top underneath is in full view, which creates a more relaxed look.

The styles and styling options are endless, so we are lending a helping hand to those looking to shop this timeless garment your wardrobe will thank you for.

Lime Green Oversized Blazer

Those looking for an oversized blazer, in a soft pastel mint, River Island has you covered.

This design is a subtle pop of colour to ease you into a more colourful wardrobe.

It also features two buttons on the front, long lapels draped down the front of the blazer, as well as 3/4-length sleeves.

We love the longline length of this blazer, which almost doubles as a blazer dress.

Top tip: slip an elastic band over the sleeves for a ruched look.

Linen Blend Tailored Single-Breasted Blazer

Linen is the fabric of the summer months and we are obsessed with this Linen Blazer from M&S.

Not only is it the perfect spring green hue to match K Mid, but it is ideal for those wanting a more flattering tailored look.

You can wear this with matching trousers, over a summer dress, with jeans, or skirts, the options are endless.

It may not be oversized, but we recommend sizing up if you want a more relaxed slouched look, and keep the front button unfastened.

Oversize classic green blazer

Frankie Shop has long been our go-to when it comes to buying oversize blazers, and we think Monki has taken some great inspiration from the label, as well as Kate Middleton's go-to retailer Balmain with this number.

This creation ticks all the boxes from the raglan sleeve, dropped shoulder, button front fastening, and boxy fit.

The best part is it is super affordable, and is priced at just £25 – what a bargain!

Bonnie Blazer

Looking for a pop of colour, but something in between mint and green apple hue? Nobody's Child has nailed it.

This design has slightly more exaggerated shoulders than other options, long lapels and sleeves, with a single button at the front.

We also love the big side pockets on this creation, which elongates your body to give the illusion of extra height.

We love how Nobody's Child paired this blazer with matching trousers and a crisp white T-shirt to make the colour pop, but you can mix and match with plenty of other garments and colours too.
