To Archie!

King Charles III raised a toast to his grandson Archie as he wished him a happy fourth birthday “wherever he was” during an intimate family gathering on Saturday.

The 74-year-old monarch paid tribute to the birthday boy — as well as “those that weren’t there” — at Buckingham Palace immediately after his coronation, a source told the Daily Mail.

Prince William reportedly kicked off the buffet-style meal, congratulating his father on the historic day.

Soon after, Charles stood to address the crowd — which included Queen Camilla’s extended family, as well as Kate Middleton’s — and thank them for making the day so successful.

“It was apparently a very sweet moment,” the insider told the outlet.

Although Prince Harry had been invited to the luncheon, he politely declined as he jetted back to California to celebrate his son’s “intimate” birthday party, which he refused to miss.

The source further told the outlet that the king seemed “genuinely quite disappointed that he didn’t stay.”

Others, however, “breathed a sigh of relief” that Harry didn’t join them. In fact, some even wondered why he “bothered to come” at all when he only spent 28 hours in London.

Despite being in a “cheerful” mood during his father’s crowing, Harry did not see or speak to his family outside of the ceremony.

In the novel, Harry aired out some of his family’s darkest secrets — such as the fact Charles referred to him as his “spare” and questioned whether or not he was even his true son.
