Love Island fans are obsessed with Sanam Harrinanans new take on milk nails

There’s nothing better than a fresh manicure just in time for your next summer plans, and the celebrity-endorsed milk nails trend is set to be one of the must-have manicures of the season.

Milk nails might not exactly be a new trend, but they’ve had somewhat of a renaissance recently thanks to the rise of the popular clean girl aesthetic, not to mention the quiet luxury trend, that has celebs like Hailey Bieber and Zendaya ditching bold colours in favour of a much softer and more subtle manicure.

The delicate take on the classic French manicure ditches the harsh line between the white tip and the nude base, and instead, sees the two colours blend together to create a new milky mani for the perfect neutral finish.

Ideal for summer, the manicure matches just about any outfit, meaning you can get away with it for work, weddings, and holidays alike without having to worry about switching up your colour in between.

However, if you want to add a little pizazz to your milk mani, former Love Island contestant Sanam Harrinanan has got the perfect solution, that adds a little something extra to the otherwise understated nail design.

Sharing her latest fresh set of nails on her TikTok, Sanam opted for a classic French manicure, featuring a pink-toned nude base and crisp white tips on her thumb, index finger and little finger, then opted for a much softer milk-style manicure on her middle and ring fingers to switch things up.

Her manicurist started by painting Sanam’s nails in the same nude shade of pink, before adding some subtle white lines across her nails before the pink had a chance to dry.

Whilst the nail varnish was still wet, her nail tech used a wider brush to blend the white into the pink, creating a soft, milky, marbled effect that still had subtle traces of the white lines to give it a rose quartz effect.

To keep the precious stone appearance going, Sanam’s manicurist then added some subtle lines of gold swirled across the surface of her two middle fingernails for some added sparkle.

Sanam’s nails were finished with an extra glossy top coat for the perfect subtle summer nails that go with absolutely everything.

Dare we say that the new milk nail trend might just edge out Hailey Bieber’s signature glazed donut nails as our new must-have manicure this summer?
