Love Island’s Billy Brown reveals body transformation as says show made him ‘look ugly’

Love Island star Billy Brown shared his body transformation to Instagram as he posed up a storm with his new ripped physique, after the former Islander, 24, said that the ITV2 reality show made him "look ugly".

In the short clip, Billy revealed how he looked when he went on Love Island, and how he looks now, showing off some of the exercises that helped him achieve his new look.

Billy simply wrote next to the video: "THEN… NOW. #trending #reels #transformation #gym."

Impressed fans shared their thoughts in the comments, with one writing: “Gorgeous then gorgeous now………… Xxx”, followed by a heart-eyes and flame emoji.

Another wrote: “Bro went from hello to yo Wys”, with eyes and a laughing emoji.

A third added: “My guy looking like hulk.”

A fourth shared their thoughts by simply posting a row of six flame emojis.

Billy’s new look comes after he previously slammed the ITV dating show's editing process for making him look "well ugly" while he was in the villa.

Billy certainly ruffled a few feathers whilst he was in the Love Island villa, after he entered alongside five other guys during the Casa Amor section of the show and took a shine to Michael Owen's daughterGemma , 19. Despite impressing the girls enough to earn himself a spot in the main villa, looking back, the 23-year-old was far from pleased about the way he looks in old clips from the show.

He confessed to the Daily Star : "I think the show makes you look well ugly. I actually thought I was alright then I saw clips and was like 'what the f***'."

Speaking to OK!, the Casa Amor bombshell added: “I was approached to go on Love Island around eight months before the show. My mum always told me that I should go on it, but I always refused as I didn’t think it was for me. Then I told my dad about it and he told me that if he was in my position he’d go for it.

“I ended up applying and went through four or five rounds of interviews because I thought I didn’t have anything to lose. A week before I flew out I got told that I’d be entering Casa Amor.”

Billy admitted he was “a bit gutted that I wasn’t in the original line-up” but decided that he’d “be stupid to turn it down”. However, entering the villa as a bombshell is no easy feat, as Billy explained: “I always support the underdog, so being in Casa Amor felt like that and made me want to prove to people that I could find love.

Just weeks after leaving the villa, Surrey-based Billy revealed that he has gone back to his day job as a roofing director.
