According to Dirt, Not only has the 20-year-old Pittsburgh native taken a turn at modeling and collaborating on makeup lines, but she’s also been stoking a budding acting career — snagging movie roles in Steven Spielberg “West Side Story” remake, as well as “The Fallout” and upcoming “Bloody Hell.” She’s also a bestselling author, having penned “The Maddie Diaries” and “The Dance Your Heart Out Collection.” To top it all off, her estimated net worth is around $5 million.
Ziegler also has been busy on the real estate front as of late, having picked up new digs on top of the pyramid, so to speak, in the Nichols Canyon area of Hollywood Hills. Records show she doled out $2.5 million for the traditional-style house, which was originally built in the late 1950s but underwent a stylish renovation by its previous owner, character actor Jeffrey Jones, who picked up the place in 2008 for $1.3 million.
Tucked away on nearly a quarter-acre parcel nestled amid a quiet cul-de-sac, and fronted by a motorcourt and an attached two-car garage, Ziegler’s newly acquired residence boasts a gray-colored stucco façade accented with white trim. Inside, three bedrooms and two baths can be found in a little more than 2,000 square feet of mostly white and light-filled living space complemented with wide-plank hardwood floors and soaring ceilings. Glass doors throughout open to provide seamless indoor/outdoor environs.
Among the highlights are a spacious living room resting beneath an exposed wood-beam ceiling and sporting a fireplace flanked by French doors, plus an updated kitchen crowned with a trussed ceiling, and outfitted with an eat-in island, stainless appliances and a breakfast nook overlooking the backyard. A formal dining room with built-in cabinetry also has doors leading outside, and an inviting primary suite is spotlighted by a marble bath equipped with dual vanities and a large steam shower.
Elsewhere in the house are two additional bedrooms that share a hallway bath, along with a stackable laundry closet; and outdoors, the fenced and gated grounds host a grassy wraparound side yard, lap pool lined by a hedge-topped stone wall on one side and sundeck on the other, and several spots ideal for al fresco dining and lounging. A fully owned solar panel system also has been added to the mix.
