Mum’s simple laundry hack that makes hanging clothes on line quicker than ever

A mum has gone viral for the hack she uses to save herself both time and effort when it comes to hanging her washing out on the line to dry.

Lera Lynn, who posts on TikTok under the username @leralynn27, said that rather than emptying her washing machine into a laundry basket, she takes each item out and lays them on top of one another in a pile.

Then, the mum simply picks the pile up and throws it over her shoulder, before walking outside and quickly placing each item on the line in no time at all.

She didn't even have to bend down to take items out of a basket or having to make sure any items are properly unfolded, Mirror reports.

On the clip, which has gained more than 7,000 likes, she wrote: "My laundry life hack that I started doing randomly one day and it is the best!"

And in the video's caption, she added: "My laundry hack which I explain to people and they think I'm crazy! But it ACTUALLY works! Undies and socks in the dryer, big things on the line. This saves me time and bending down!"

But others were less impressed, saying her method of hanging things on the line would result in "peg marks" in the middle of her clothes.

Someone said: "No to clothes folded over the line. Mum always drilled it in they don't dry properly and leave lines on clothes, so I'm too scared to do it this way."

As someone else wrote: "I'm cringing at the thought of all the peg marks that are going to be smack bang in the middle of the clothes!"

Before Leralynn then replied: "I've never had a peg mark on my clothes before. They fly away if not pegged down, no idea what you're talking about."
