An adorable dog was left looking like ‘Sid from Ice Age’ after a visit to the groomers.

The US owner shared a before and after photo on his Twitter page @REALBURTIIS which left social media users in stitches at the pooch’s transformation.

The poor dog went from having a big fluffy mane with an adorable pink bow tying her hair back from her eyes to a fully-shaven pup with a small bit of fur left on her head. 

The now-viral tweet racked up more than 500,000 likes and 72,000 retweets. 

The fuming owner captioned the hilarious snaps targeted at the grooming chain: ‘Count your f****** days.’
