People are only just realising the meaning behind common road sign
Remembering all the road signs isn't an easy task.
But it's something every motorist will have studied for in their theory test.
Now one tourist has been left baffled after coming across a road sign which they couldn't understand.

In a post on Reddit, the person shared a photo of the sign which attracted a lot of commentary.
The snap shows a blue circle with a red outline and cross through it.
So do you know what the road sign means?
In the post, the tourist wrote: "Been driving around the UK for the last few weeks… Wtf is this sign?"
It is a "no stopping" sign which means you're not even allowed to halt for a short amount of time or pick up passengers.
Loads of people did make fun in the post, as one wrote: "Denotes an area where it's illegal to film an adult movie."
Another joked: "X-Men nearby."
However others were more helpful, as one said: "No stopping."
According to the Highway Code, if you ever see this sign you're not allowed to stop under any circumstance.
Even if it's for a short period to pick or drop someone off, it's not forbidden when the sign is visible.

If you do happen to stop in this zone, you can be hit with a fixed penalty notice, so it's worth bearing in mind.
And it's not the first time some people were stumped by a road signs.
Recently, a motorist claimed "99% of drivers" can't work out what one simple road sign means.
A user took to Reddit to say how annoyed they were with people's lack of understanding.
They even revealed what the sign actually means.
In the photo, it shows the sign with a black diagonal line in the middle.
