PEOPLE are only just realising that you can buy McDonald's dupes from Aldi for under £1.50 – and they're loving it.

Aldi is famous for some of its dupes, with fans claiming the cheap versions are as good or better than the real deal.

The retailer has sold McDonald's dupes for a while now, but some shoppers have only just spotted the products at their local shop.

Posting in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, one savvy saver said: "Aldi £1.49 for two cheaper than McDonald's chips and taste the same."

The post got more than 1,000 likes and fellow bargain hunters were quick to praise the dupes.

One person said: "I had them last week and they taste good."
