‘People call us dumb because we’re blonde – but we’re actually really smart’

The saying goes that blondes have more fun – but they have to put up with a lot of nasty comments too.

One of the most common preconceptions about blonde women is that they're a bit thick.

The term "dumb blonde" is freely used to describe anyone who has golden locks – especially those who dye their hair.

But just because a woman has light-coloured hair, it doesn't mean she is lacking a brain.

These gorgeous women are all proof that you can be a stunning blonde and also clever.

I have loads of qualifications

Alice Connors may be a hot bikini model, but looks can be deceiving.

She earns her money by stripping off – but she's not just a pretty face and has tons of qualifications.

The 25-year-old Londoner is bilingual and also has qualifications in business, law and psychology.

But she says it's infuriating that people judge her on her looks and assume she's thick.

“It is frustrating and it happens all the time. You could easily get targeted with a brush and people think you are not who you are," she said.

“But it’s about drawing the attention of the crowd and being able to get to where I am today. Bikini modelling is going to help me get out there and be noticed."

When she's not modelling she is studying. Her first job was in business and the Bristol-born beauty is also a qualified psychologist and legal executive.

“I model and do shows but I could never stop my studies. It also opens different doors. I’m 25 and I’ve made sure to study everything I possibly could," she said.

“When I feel like I’m old enough to settle down and create my own family I can open other doors to get into any business I want.”

I'm a real life Elle Woods

Whoever said you can't have brains and beauty obviously hasn't met 24-year-old Giulie.

The German-based stunner combines a modelling career with studying for a law degree.

Just like Reese Witherspoon's character, Elle Woods, in Legally Blonde, Giulie says her intelligence is underestimated because of her pretty face and long blonde locks.

She balances being a fitness model and Instagram influencer with working hard to enter the world of law – a profession which is usually taken up by men in grey suits

Giulie said: “I’m very often compared to Elle Woods and I really like it. I like the idea that people underestimate me because of my look and I wanted to prove to them that I can be educated and good looking all in one."

And she said she's using her Instagram and modelling to pay for her law studies.

“I can live from my Instagram and my work on social media but it’s really important to me to grow and have the best education you can have.

"So I want to finish my law studies, so when social media isn’t a topic for me anymore, I can work in a high valued job after.”

I earn a fortune from OnlyFans

Many people say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover – and OnlyFans model Isabella James definitely agrees with that.

The stunner says she often gets judged on her looks, with people thinking she's a 'bimbo' because she's blonde and has big boobs.

But what they don't know is that she earns a fortune from OnlyFans.

Isabella said: "Everyone assumes that because I have big t*ts and I'm blonde, I must be dumb and using some man for his money.

"The thing is, I make all my own money, and not to toot my own horn, I'm very smart."

Isabella started off being a webcam girl but then switched to OnlyFans when she realised it was more lucrative.

She says for the last year she's been "making six figures a month" and runs it alongside her own spiritual Instagram page – something she wants to concentrate on when the glamour modelling work dries up.

"I'm very blessed – I didn't come from money so it's beautiful to break that generational curse," she said.

I went brunette – and hated it

A DJ and influencer decided to ditch her blonde locks and go back to her natural brunette – and was shocked by the result.

Jodie Weston, changed her hair colour as an experiment to see if she was treated differently.

Jodie, aged 27, from London, who shot to fame on TV show Rich Kids Go Skint, said she found a "massive shift" in how people treated her.

She donned a shoulder-length brown wig and went out and about to see if her life would be different as a brunette.

Jodie said as a blonde she didn't have to wait in queues, was able to talk her way out of parking tickets, and also got free drinks in bars.

But as a brunette her life wasn't so easy. "I noticed that people didn't offer to help as much, as a blonde, more people were eager to help me and I definitely got more “cat calls” when I walked down the street," she said.

"As a brunette, I got a completely different calibre of guys chatting me up. It was more academic style guys or serious businessmen."

She has been dying her hair for years now and has been platinum blonde since 2017. After her experiment, she decided to revert back to being a blonde.

"I think I am more judged by women as a blonde as girls are their own worst enemies. When I am blonde, girls judge me and think I am a bimbo," she said.
