In Netflix’s highly anticipated “Harry & Meghan” docuseries, which dropped its first three episodes today, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle discussed the highs and lows of their relationship — and it turns out, getting dressed for royal events came with quite a few challenges.

Discussing the first time she appeared in public to greet crowds with her then-fiancé, the Duchess of Sussex admitted in the second episode, “I never saw pictures or videos of a walkabout. It’s like, ‘what’s a walkabout?’”

While the duke shared that he prepped her on what to expect based on his own experiences through the years, he added, “The piece I really didn’t know about was the style, right? What a woman needed to … how they needed to dress.”

Although Prince Harry admitted he wasn’t well-versed in royal fashion, Markle revealed the groom-to-be was quite hands-on when it came to getting ready for appearances.

“You’d be there with the scissors like, as we’re getting ready, like ‘we have five minutes!’” the former “Suits” actress said, describing the chaos of whipping outfits together.

“I’d be like, ‘Should I wear these earrings? Are these a British designer? I just ordered these online, is this good? Wait my tag’s still on, cut the tag!’” she added.

For her first public event with Prince Harry after their engagement, the duchess-to-be wore a black turtleneck bodysuit by Wolford and a camel Joseph skirt.
