Princess Kate’s Chanel obsession continues during her Boston royal tour
The Princess of Wales arrived for her visit of Greentown Labs, North America’s largest clean-tech incubator, to learn more about how climate innovation is nurtured and scaled.
The walkabout, which took place earlier today in Boston, Massachusetts saw Princess Kate deliver another winning sartorial combo. After stepping out in a stunning Indigo suit yesterday, she once again proved that she will never get tired of a classic tonal palette. This time she donned a plum hued jacket and trouser set which she paired with a coordinating blush pink pussybow blouse.

Kate wore a spectacular Chanel handbag
Much like her previous outfit, she donned a suede pair of heels in the same shade as the suit to give her 5′ 9″ frame an even more longline silhouette. Even though we were frankly obsessed with the ensemble, here at the Hello! Fashion office we couldn’t keep our eyes off of her matching bag. The burgundy accessory the Princess of Wales carries is from Chanel‘s autumn/winter 2016/2017 collection. It boasts the iconic Chanel logo on the front in matching enamel and an intricately patterned enamel and brass handle. It’s made from quilted calfskin leather, and is no longer available for purchase, Kate has worn it several times since 2017.
This isn’t the first time she’s championed the French luxury maison however. Although Kate tends to favour British brands (for obvious reasons) she has worn Chanel twice during her Boston tour.

The Princess once again adopted a tonal colour palette
The Prince and Princess of Wales surprised fans when they made a surprise appearance courtside to watch the Boston Celtics take on Miami Heat on Wednesday. The Princess looked tres chic in a vintage blue tweed jacket by Chanel paired with black dress pants, which she has worn once before.
Coco Chanel once said, “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.”
No danger of ever forgetting our Princess in that case.
