Queen's extended family members attend Wimbledon men's final

Queen’s extended family members including Lady Gabriella Windsor, Lord Frederick Windsor and Sophie Winkleman take their seats in the Royal Box for Wimbledon men’s final between Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios

Members of the Queen’s extended family made their way to Wimbledon’s Royal Box to watch the men’s final today.

As well as senior royals Kate Middleton and Prince William, both 40, alongside their eight-year-old son Prince George, other recognisable faces were snapped as they attended the sporting event.  

Lady Gabriella Windsor, 41 was photographed at the event with her husband Thomas Kingston, 43. 

Elsewhere in the Royal Box was Lord Frederick Windsor, 42, and his wife Sophie Winkleman, who is the half-sister of TV presenter Claudia Winkleman, 41. 

The members of the extended royal family all came to the grounds to watch Novak Djokovic take on Nick Kyrgios in the highly-anticipated final.

Elsewhere in the royal box was Lord Frederick Windsor, 42, and his wife Sophie Winkleman, who is the half-sister of TV presenter Claudia Winkleman, 41

The Queen’s cousin Prince Michael of his Kent, 80, and his wife, Marie-Christine, 77, were also expected to attend.

Prince and Princess Michael’s daughter, Lady Gabriella Windsor, looked elegant as she arrived at the event wearing a pink pinstripe dress alongside her husband Thomas.

She wore chic drop earrings and the beauty opted for a glamorous make-up look, including red lipstick. 

Thomas looked smart in a cream blazer jacket over a blue shirt, which he paired with navy trousers. 

The Royal Box today, at the Wimbledon Men’s final, was filled with familiar faces including Prince William, Kate Middleton, their son Prince George, and other members of the Queen’s extended family

Meanwhile, Sophie Winkleman cut a stylish figure in a blue floral dress, which she accessorised with a white leather handbag and chic sunglasses. 

The actress – who famously starred as Big Suze in Peep Show, has two children with Fredrick, Maud, nine, and Isabella, six. 

Lord Frederick, who is the son of Prince Michael of Kent and 53rd in line to the throne, looked smart in a tailored blue suit which he paired with a white shirt and a blue striped tie.

Mother and son both put on an animated display as they watch the action unfold on Centre Court in Wimbledon this afternoon 

The royal couple waved after taking place in their front row seat, keeping Prince George between moments before the match started 

Elsewhere in the Royal Box, Kate Middleton and Prince William sat with their eight-year-old son Prince George.

Today’s outing marked the youngster’s first appearance at a Wimbledon final. 

George was snapped looking smart, dressed in a navy suit, as he arrived at the grounds, before greeting officials and staff on his way to his seat. 

Kate is patron of the Lawn Tennis Association and a regular fixture at Wimbledon.

Today is her third appearance at the championship this year – having previously cheered Cameron Norrie on during his quarter-final match and watched Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina win the women’s title during her final with Ons Jabeur yesterday.
