‘Real-life devil’ banned from church after extreme body modifications

A dad has called out "religious zealots" who banned him from the church after he spent £50,000 on his body modification look.

Renie Diniz da Silva, 38, has been modifying himself for the past 14 years, which includes implants and tattooing 70% of his body.

The Brazilian quickly became addicted by visiting tattoo conventions before moving onto more serious body implants.

He's known as a "real-life devil" with over 70% of his body tattooed and £50,000 spent on his transformation.

The most prominent is his two transdermal implants in his forehead, allowing him to screw different-sized horns onto his head.

A transdermal implant is done through a small incision in the skin, placing an object partially below, with part of it sticking out.

The object has large holes in it, allowing the skin to grow into the object as it heals before becoming a permanent part of the body.

Renie also takes part in body suspension, placing hooks in his back and swinging from two chains, using his skin to support himself.

And due to his appearance, the dad has received a lot of hateful comments with strangers saying "you shouldn't go out in public".

Even the religious community has had a lot to say about Renie, especially the Catholic church.

On several occasions pastors have refused him entrance into the church due to his look.

When on holiday in Argentina, Renie was repeatedly told he would go to hell due to his appearance.

He also faces criticism from his family as his dad disapproves, while his son dislikes when he is hurt by the modifications.

Despite constant negativity, Renie loves his look and plans to continue his transformation.

Through his appearance, the tattoo addict has made friends with many like minded people, finding acceptance in a new community.

Along with the online abuse, he has received a lot of support for his extreme look and admiration from others.

Now Renie plans to get implants in his genitals, as well as enlarging his already modified ears.

He said: "I already have 70% of my body tattooed. I have four silicone implants in my right arm and four in my left arm.

"In my forehead, I've had two transdermal implants, my tongue forked and made black.

"I also have a lighting bolt implanted in my hand. I have orc ears, tattooed eyeballs and 14 surgically implanted steel teeth.

"I started going to a new tattoo convention and I liked it."

Speaking about people's reaction to his unusual appearance, Renie revealed: "Not everyone is accepting.

"Most of my friends like it, but there is always one who says they don't and criticise.

"My father doesn't like it very much and my family ask why I do all this.

"My daughter is still very young, only two years old, but my son doesn't like it when I get hurt.

"I am happy. I like tattoo modifications and I really like participating in tattoo conventions."
