SAS Who Dares Wins star Jason Foxy Foxs dating history and children

Jason Fox found fame thanks to hit Channel 4 show SAS: Who Dares Wins, which first aired back in 2015.

The 50 year old former soldier is now the longest-serving directing staff on the series, and also stars on the celebrity edition of SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Jason joined the Royal Marines Commandos when he was just 16 years old and nine years later he joined the Special Boat Service, going on to reach the rank of Sergeant.

In total, he served 20 years in the military before being medically discharged in 2012 after being diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, commonly known as PTSD.

Jason venture into the world of TV in 2015 when the first series of SAS: Who Dares Wins aired on Channel 4, but despite finding fame overnight, he tends to keep out of the spotlight.

The 50 year old is believed to be in a relationship with Jules Hawkins, who he was first photographed with back in 2016.

He met Jules following his split from ex-wife Lucy Culkin, who he married back in September 2011 in a stunning ceremony in Devon.

Jason welcomed his first child, a daughter named Honor, with Lucy in 2012. However, the pair's marriage eventually broke down after Jason's mental health struggles and PTSD from his time in service took its toll on their romance.

Before marrying Lucy, Jason tied the knot with a different woman who he also shares a daughter with, but they have kept themselves out of the limelight.

"I've got two marriages that have gone down the pan – I like to attribute it to the military life but then I look at the common denominator which is me," the SAS star previously admitted.

Over recent years, Jason has been open and honest about his struggles and has become a pioneer for soldiers' mental health.

Speaking to LadBible in 2019, the dad-of-two said: "I found it very difficult to admit that to myself. What I started to do was lie to myself about what was going on and put it down to other things that were going on in my life.

"It was getting to the point where I had to do something, and it was like the last resort, but I never wanted to speak to anyone. I just wanted to push it under the carpet and crack on – the old stiff upper lip."

Jason, who specialised in counter-terrorism and demolition during his time as a soldier, has also explained that getting professional help actually saved his life.

He said: "I would have probably stayed in my job and I'd have got sicker, mentally, because I'd have continued doing something without addressing it.

"I'd have either been completely reckless and died being away, just throwing caution to the wind because that's one thing I think I might have done, or I'd have gone into a massive fit of depression at some point and probably killed myself."

While his time as a solider was tough, he said that it wasn't until he actually left the military that he began to struggle.

"It wasn't until I left and lost my identity, that was the lowest point I remember. Leaving and everything else falling apart afterwards, that was the low point – that completely overshadows all the others," Jason told LadBible.
