Queen Máxima of The Netherlands looked a vision in festive ruby red as she attended this year’s Christmas Music Gala in Amsterdam today.

The Dutch Queen, 51, wore a burgundy cape coat as she arrived at the Rai in Amsterdam, holding a satin red clutch bag, with an intricate diamond, three layer necklace peeping out the collar and matching earrings.

Queen Máxima painted her nails red to match her festive outfit, which she revealed once inside the auditorium and out of the freezing temperatures.

Máxima opted for a burgundy v-neck blouse with long sleeves, tucked into a magnificent ruby red satin A-line skirt, ending just above her ankles, to show off her matching sandals.

For the event, the Dutch Queen kept her blonde tresses and loose and elegant curled around her shoulders, and her make up natural.

She beamed as she attended the concert, which is an annual event for the country, and one that she never misses.

School children from all over the country descended on the Rai to perform Christmas hits.

She then sat down with staff members to discuss poverty issues during her visit.

With the temperatures reaching negative levels in Nijkerk today, Máxima opted for a bit of dopamine dressing, with a colourful checked navy and yellow coat.

She paired it with a pair of yellow trousers and blue heeled boots which watched her velvet clutch bag.

During her visit, she sat down for tea with some of the staff members keeping the community centre alive to discuss how poverty was affecting residents and charity efforts in Nijkerk.
