'Titanic' turns 25: Throwback to the 1997 red carpet premieres of the blockbuster movie

It’s been… 25 years! The blockbuster movie “Titanic” marks its 25th anniversary on Dec. 19, 2022, and to celebrate, Wonderwall.com is taking a stroll down memory lane to see all the stars who attended the film’s Los Angeles and London premieres back in December 1997. Fun fact: The film’s female lead, Kate Winslet, skipped both premieres — but not because she wasn’t proud of the film. She missed the L.A. premiere because she was attending the funeral of an ex-boyfriend she’d dated for more than four years following his death from cancer. And she missed the U.K. premiere because she was hospitalized with amoebic dysentery she contracted while filming a movie in Morocco.
