UK’s biggest family struck down by nasty flu as mum Sue Radford ‘stuck on sofa’

There's nothing worse than a household being struck down by a nasty illness.

The UK's largest family are currently bogged down with the flu as mum Sue Radford said seven of her 22 kids are ill.

In fact, she's even "stuck on the sofa" as her brood are trying to get over the horrible bug.

She said kids Katie, Aimee, Hallie, Phoebe, Archie, Max, Katie and Heidie were feeling unwell in their Morecambe home.

Sue, 47, is hoping to "feel better quickly" after a round of antibiotics.

Posting the situation on Instagram, she said: "Been stuck on the sofa today with portly little people.

"We've got Hallie, Phoebe, Archie, Max, Aimee, Katie and Heidie all poorly with this awful flu sold that's going around.

"They are now on antibiotics so hoping they start to feel better quickly. Hope you're all well."

Sue and her husband Noel, who have been married for 30 years, are known as the parents of UK's biggest family.

They are the stars of Channel 5's show 22 Kids and Counting.

Recently Sue planned a "no-spend January" despite the family's staggering net worth.

She wrote on Instagram: "My New Year's resolutions are to get up at 6:30am to do a swim in this pool and to care less about what other people think about us because so long as we are happy nothing else matters.

"And to do a no-spend January which funny enough everyone thinks is hilarious.

"But I will share that with you, so far I have spent £30 on petrol to my mums, does that count?"

The family boast 500,000 followers on Instagram where Sue often shares a glimpse of their hectic lives.

She previously said she was "itching" for another holiday – despite having 11 last year.

The mum-of-22 wrote: "Looking back on our memories from last year and I feel blessed to be able to give our children this life.

"It hasn't always been easy for us, believe me, we've really struggled over the years like lots of our followers.

"But believe you can and you will achieve what you want in life, anything is possible if you believe in yourself."
