Is a courthouse wedding in Vanessa Hudgens’ future?
The “High School Musical” star admitted on “The Drew Barrymore Show” Monday that she “kind of” wants “to elope” with her fiancé, Cole Tucker.
Hudgens blamed the stress that comes with wedding planning for her change of heart.
“It’s hard,” she explained. “Finding a venue is tough. I’m lost. I don’t know.”
As for Tucker’s opinion, the actress, 34, noted that the professional baseball player, 26, “just wants to get married to” her however it happens.
“He’s like, ‘Whatever you want, babe,’” she gushed.
The couple went public with their engagement in February — although Tucker reportedly got down on one knee in late 2022.
The bride-to-be showed off her ring in an Instagram post that same month, writing, “YES. We couldn’t be happier.”

She and the athlete have been together since 2020, debuting their relationship via Instagram in February of the following year.
Hudgens revealed during a September 2021 “Today” show appearance that the duo met over Zoom during a meditation call amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“After our Zoom, I followed him on Instagram, and then I actually just did a deep dive, and two days later, he DMed me,” she recalled.
“It’s the ultimate modern day love story,” the “Dead Hot” star continued. “It’s ridiculous. Like who are we, the most new-age couple ever?”
Prior to her and Tucker’s romance, Hudgens dated “Elvis” star Austin Butler from 2011 to 2020 and her “High School Musical” co-star Zac Efron from 2005 to 2010.
