Woman, 41, proud to be cougar as she only dates lads 10 years younger than her

A woman who prefers dating men at least 10 years younger than her is proud to be a cougar.

Carla is currently in a relationship with 28-year-old BB* and isn't ashamed of her decision.

The 41-year-old, from London, turned to younger relationships after her marriage broke down.

She began her quest for a relationship on dating app Tinder and slowly lowered her age preference.

The self-proclaimed cougar was amazed when men in their 20s started lining up to take her out on dates.

While she doesn't have a type, Carla said 25-30 is definitely her "sweet spot".

She told Mirror: "Younger than that and our lifestyles and maturity are too different to have a real connection.

"Older than that and guys are usually looking for a wife."

Not only does she get to date younger men but she's also turned her sex-positive lifestyle into a side hustle.

The cougar also realised younger lads were more fun and open-minded, something she was drawn to.

One of the men she dated and went onto marry was six years younger, but they separated five years later in 2019.

Carla found the break-up difficult and wasn't feeling great about herself, so turned to dating apps.

She added: "On Tinder you choose your preferences – location, gender and age.

"I remember starting with my own, which was 38, and gradually pushing it lower and lower."

At first, Clara was concerned men wouldn't see the "real her" and think she was a catfish.

Now in the two years since joining, she's had great experiences, including a throuple with a man and woman.

Clara, who doesn't want children, shares her journey on Instagram and earns money from it by having an OnlyFans.

Now she's passionate about sex, kink and wants to normalise being more open about our desires.
