Police are hunting for an armed robber who stormed into a store bizarrely wearing a WWE belt upside down.

The suspect is said to have demanded money as he brandished a gun inside the shop in Temple, Texas.

Authorities said he took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot shortly before 10pm on October 26.

The Temple Police Department described him as a black man who was wearing glasses but no shoes.

He donned the wrestling champion belt replica and had on a blue long-sleeve Nike top, authorities added.

It has been confirmed that no injuries have been reported.

Meanwhile, over in Dallas, Texas, a jealous boyfriend accused his partner of cheating on him shortly after she had given birth on October 22.

Nestor Hernandez, 30, is said to have fatally shot hospital staff members Jacqueline Pokuaa, 45, and Katie Annette Flowers, 63, at Methodist Dallas Medical Centre.

He is accused of hitting his girlfriend over the head with a handgun and making alarming calls and texts to family members.

Hernandez was on parole from prison when he went to the hospital wearing a police ankle monitor, cops said.

Thankfully the newborn child, who was in the room during the tragedy, was not harmed.

Dallas police Chief Eddie Garcia said: “In my opinion, this is a failure of our criminal justice system.

"A violent individual such as this should not have been on an ankle monitor and should have remained in custody."

Hernandez was previously slapped with an eight-year sentence for aggravated robbery and had also been arrested for burglary and the unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Methodist Medical System Police Chief Glen Fowler said the hospital were unaware of his criminal past.

"That's not something we normally inquire about for a parent," he explained.

"This is an extremely horrific, out-of-the-norm situation. I wish that we would have known, but that is not some information that was provided to us beforehand."
