Woman dubbed ‘genius’ for £2.50 hack to stop neighbours peeking in windows
A woman who became fed-up of her nosey neighbours looking in her windows has shared the cheap £2.50 hack she used to put a stop to it.
Helly, who posts online under the username @hellyangel, shared a video on social media demonstrating how to use her unique hack to banish gawkers from looking through her window.
The home renovation fan made the glass look frosted with a bottle of Elmer's School Glue — which retails for £2.49 online.

In the clip, which has gained more than 5.2million likes, she was seen using a paint roller to cover the window in a thin layer of glue and create a frosted glass effect when dry.
She said: "TikTok made me do it: I’m putting Elmer's glue on my window to make it not see through."
The TikTok user then poured some of her glue into a miniature paint tray and covers a tiny roller in the liquid.
"Honestly there might be too much glue on the brush," she admitted before lightly rolling the glue evenly on the window pane. My strategy is to literally put it all the way onto the edge and just wipe that off later."
"I haven’t tried it with a regular paint roller because this is my first time doing it, but it works really well with this sponge roller."
Once the gluey window was complete she left it to dry overnight before checking on the results the next day — happily declaring that "it looks frosted".
However, viewers were left divided on the hack as they took to the comments to give their opinion.
