Love Island first look sees past Islander return as bombshell sending fans wild
It’s official, Love Island favourite Kady McDermott is heading back into the villa to look for romance, seven years after first appearing on the show back in 2016.
The 27 year old star, who first shot to fame on season 2 of the show, was revealed to be returning to the villa at the end of Thursday night’s episode, with a teaser revealing the stunning brunette had barely changed a bit!
Easily one of the most famous stars to have come out of the show, Kady previously finished third in her series alongside ex partner Scott Thomas, but clearly has every intention of taking home the Love Island crown with her second time in the Mallorcan villa.
Since appearing on the show, Kady has enjoyed a series of high profile romances, including with TOWIE star Myles Barnett, and even managed to enjoy a brief fling with Matty Cash.
Sadly despite her best efforts however, the star has yet to find “the one” and is back in the villa this week to hopefully find lasting love for a second time.
Famously known for her fiery temper, Kady was previously dubbed a “pocket rocket” during her time on the show, as her no-nonsense attitude lead to some of the most iconic moments in Love Island history.
Opening up about her return to the show, prior to making her second villa debut, Kady revealed: "Not many people can say they’ve been on Love Island, let alone have done it twice! I think I’m known from season 2 for being so chaotic. "
She then continued: People always ask, ‘Do you have regrets?’ expecting me to say yes, but I was so true to myself and I was 100% authentic. I’ll still be like that now, but seven years on, I am more mature. I’m still the fiery pocket rocket but I know what I want and what I don’t want.
"Don’t get me wrong, I’m still going to be me and the fire I have is in my soul, I’ll never get rid of that and I love that about me, but I’m a lot more emotionally mature now, so I know how to navigate things better. I’ve grown up a lot," she concluded.
The star also revealed that she had two Islanders she had her eye on prior to heading into the villa, with her number one choice being Zachariah Noble, who is currently coupled up with Molly Marsh.
However, she also revealed she was open to getting to know both Tyrique Hyde and Mitchel Taylor too.
“Zach’s my number one, Tyrique on looks, but he might need his ego putting down a little bit. I also want to get to know Mitch,” she candidly admitted.
“Age is a big thing for me, immaturity in a man for me, it’s just a complete no. I don’t like boys that are too cheeky, I just don’t trust them. Zach seems the most chilled and and is nice to look at.”
