Zara and Mike Tindall cuddle on the slopes in pics from ‘amazing’ skiing holiday
Zara andMike Tindall cuddled up on the slopes as they enjoyed an “amazing” ski trip to Austria.
Mike, the formerI’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant, has shared photographs of the royal couple’s holiday to the picturesque Alpine resort town of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, near Salzburg.
The ex-England rugby ace, 44, was so impressed with the trip that he said he was thinking of launching a charity event there.
Posting a series of snaps of the resort to his 586,000 Instagram followers, MIke said: “Amazing couple of days skiing in @saalbach_com great hospitality with fantastic people! Maybe a charity event in the pipeline??”
As well as the image of the couple on the slopes, the pictures shared by Mike show the stunning scenery in the resort – with snow-covered mountains set against bright blue skies. Another image shows Zara, 41, enjoying a relaxed meal with a party of friends.
The popular royal couple have been enjoying an adventurous and fun-filled two months since Mikefinished in fourth place on I’m A Celeb in November.
The down to earth royal couple were pictured arriving in South Australia early in December –carrying their own luggage through Adelaide airport.
They have spentseveral weeks in Oz for the Magic Millions horse auction – though they did briefly make a return to spendChristmas with the Royal Family at Sandringham.
During their time Down Under, the pairrubbed shoulders with Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky – while former Olympic equestrianZara was able to showcase her polo skills.
Recently, Zara – the lateQueen’s granddaughter –opened up on her ‘mum guilt’ after returning to her sporting career after having children during an interview with her husband as part of a new YouTube series called Mike Drop in collaboration with the Magic Millions horse-racing event.
ThePrincess Royal’s daughter,who recently enjoyed a loved-up day at the races, said: “It is hard getting your body back when you’ve been riding for 30 years or whatever it is, 25 years, and then your body being just completely not doing that and your muscles doing nothing and stretching and creating an amazing thing, but it’s just completely different.
She added: “I found it hard getting yourself back to it, but mentally you feel guilty as a mother leaving your child to go and do something else.”
Zara told of feeling guilty “all the time” about being away from her children, saying she would ring former England rugby player Mike “every day”.
She competed in the London 2012 Olympics, winning a team eventing silver medal – which was presented by her mother Princess Anne. She wasmoved to tears as she recalled the medal-winning performance during the emotional interview with Mike.
