A Place in the Sun’s biggest bloopers – boob leak, split shorts and drunk scene

A Place In The Sun 's Laura Hamilton has opened up about some of her awkward experiences on the show.

Laura, 40, has been charming the nation on the popular C4 show for the past 10 years, with it originally kicking off in 2000.

In an exclusive Facebook Live chat with the Daily Star, Laura spoke candidly about her time on the show and how she's thoroughly enjoyed the past decade.

Though she did open up about some more embarrassing times – whether that was about herself, a guest or a bystander – she revealed all…

Boob leak

The stunning host announced that there was once a time when started leaking from her breast on set.

This came just three weeks after she had her daughter Talia, who is now seven.

Laura laughed: "I had only just had Talia and I went back to work pretty quickly, and she was with me obviously. And it was a little bit awkward for the director I had to say to him 'Alan, I'm going to have to step out in a min because this is what happens after you've had a baby'.

"But it's so amazing because Talia is seven now and I remember the couple so clearly, Rob and Lynda Palliser, and it's mad seven years ago I can still remember their names.

"They were so brilliant with me and they understood I was a mum and just had a baby. Rob and Lynda,, yeah, crazy…"

She continued: "That was a wardrobe blunder for sure because we have to wear the same outfit while filming, though I do wash my outfit in the week."

Split shorts

The talented presenter then went on to reveal a second wardrobe malfunction that took place in brand new episodes.

The host said: "In an episode in summer this year, bless the guy, he split his shorts. The assistant producer had to sew them up for him, that's the thing we all muck in, we're the wardrobe department too.

"He was like 'oh my god, oh my god' but we told him it was fine.

"I did the voice-over for that show and rest assured nothing is seen but these things happen they don't always run smoothly and we all have a bit of a laugh but the assistant producer was a good seamstress luckily."

Drunken disturbance

Laura also touched upon a time when the APITS TV crew had to move location due to a random drunk man interrupting their segment.

When reminded about the disturbance, Laura told host Carly Hacon: "Ah yeah, I remember that…"

The moment took place in Barcelona when Laura was filming over there and talking to a couple who were looking for their new home.

In a previous interview, Laura had explained in further detail what had happened with the bystander.

Laura said: “As I was talking to them, this man who clearly had a few too many in the middle of the day, came and stood by the side of them.

“This man was just stood there! And we were like ‘Do I carry on, do I ignore him?’ and then the director was like ‘Excuse me can you go’ and he just literally stood and stared and nodded his head and he didn’t do anything.

“We always get people waving in the background. It is frustrating, you know when you’re trying to film and it’s so hot.”
