Emmerdale fans spot blunder as Samson Dingle makes vile decision | The Sun

SAMSON Dingle showed off his mean streak as he remains determined to get rid of his own daughter Esther.

But Emmerdale fans were baffled when the lad played by Sam Hall was able to get in touch with social services at the speed of light.

While Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) is going above and beyond to be the best mother she can be for her baby, nothing can convince Samson to adapt to fatherhood.

Since Esther's premature birth, the youngster has displayed troubling behaviour and vowed he wouldn't let the tot get in the way of his plans for the future.

Samson's threats became a reality during last night's trip to the Dales when he phoned social services in an attempt to get Esther taken away.

"Hello, is that Social Services? I think a baby's being neglected", he told to the person on the other end of the line.

Many ITV viewers were stunned by his nastiness.

But another handful of soap fans were wondering if Samson had social services on "speed dial" as it only took him a short amount of time to get through to them.

"So Samson's been planning this for a while otherwise how the hell does he have social services programmed in", one viewer Tweeted.

Another quipped: "I checked my phone and nope I don't have the number of social services to hand. Oh but teenager Samson has in Emmerdale. Make it make sense."

"So did Samson have social services on speed dial?", another added.

One viewer echoed: "What has Samson got the telephone number for social services on his phone?"

"So Samson just had the number of social services saved on his phone. Either that, or it was the quickest Google search I’ve seen", one penned.

A soap viewer jumped in: "Quickest ever call connection award goes to Samson!" while another concluded: "Amazing that Samson had the number for Social Services stored in his phone, what a stroke of luck".

The call followed a heated confrontation with Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) who wasn't happy when he found out Samson had tried to convince Amelia to get rid of Esther.

Noah promised to be the father the baby deserved as his relationship with Amelia evolves steadily.

In early scenes, Samson made Amelia doubt herself more than she already was by asking her "how many successful teen mums" she knew.

He insisted he had no interest in being a father to Esther and tried to get Amelia to put her up for adoption, reminding her she had initially wanted an abortion.
