Alison Hammond pays tribute to son Aiden as he turns 18 on her birthday | The Sun

ALISON Hammond thanked her followers for their birthday wishes whilst also wishing her son happy birthday.

The This Morning host shared a clip of her thanking her followers, whilst sporting glam makeup and a big smile.



Alison started off the video by stating: "I just wanted to pop on just to say thank you to everyone who sent me loads of birthday wishes."

It comes after the star stunned fans by revealing she would be turning 48 this weekend.

She went on to say: "Thank you so so much, it means so much – how are you all are you having a lovely, happy Friday, ready for the weekend.

"I just wanted to say thank you for all your birthday wishes, it's not my birthday today, it's actually on Sunday.

"But the big deal for me is the fact that my son, Aiden, is 18 on Sunday."

The TV favourite explained that Aiden was born on her birthday and stated he was a "gift", to her.

She continued: "Born on my birthday 18 years ago and I just can't get my breathe that Aiden is 18, I just can't believe it, he's going to be an adult on Sunday.

"My little baby and you guys have seen the whole journey, obviously I brought him on This Morning when he was teeny tiny, literally about three weeks old, I brought him onto the show.

Alison panned the camera to show birthday cards in the background before reading out heartfelt messages written in a card from her TV colleagues.

The former Big Brother contestant's comment section was flooded with even more birthday wishes, including one from co-host Holly Willoughby, which read: "Happy birthday beautiful ❤️."

Comedian Dawn French also sent her love, writing: "Happy birthday you joyful human x."

TV legend Carol Vorderman gushed: "OMG can't wait to see you tomorrow ❤️."

Former X-factor star and I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! runner up Jake Quickenden commented: "Happy bday mate….. keep shining."

The star recently stunned fans with her youthful looks that left them questioning her age.
