Britain’s Got Talent viewers were left stunned and in stitches after act Johns' Boys made a savage dig at host Ant McPartlin.

The Welsh male voice choir were seen performing Harry Style’s hit track Falling for tonight’s semi-finals (May 30) receiving roaring comments from the judges amd viewers at home.

But it wasn’t the performance that had fans talking, it was a hilarious gag made by one of the singer as they chatted to hosts Ant and Dec.

Referencing Ant’s epic fall on last night’s show, which saw him take a huge tumble on stage, the singer was asked about their performance and the comments form the judges.

The singer was then heard saying: “can I just add thank you Ant for being such an inspiration for our song falling.”

The pair were seen cracking up in laughter and Ant sarcastically accepting praise for the inspiration.

“Johns boys should win for Ant falling over joke alone! #BGT,” said one fan.

Another echoed: “John’s Boys just got my vote for making fun of Ant’s fall! #bgt”

On tonight’s night’s bill, dancers Yo Highness, Nathan & Joanne and comedic act Viggo Venn all gave amazing performances.

Joining them were Amanda Holden’s golden buzzer act Olivia Lynes, Lewis Fuller and Tia Connolly, and daredevil Andrew Stanton.

Viewers quickly noted that four of the eight acts were singers or singing groups, while three of them were dancers or dance was an aspect of the performance.

Given the variety of talent on the show, some viewers were not impressed with the decision to have so many acts of a similar talent on the same episode.

One viewer said: "What actually is the point of #BGT if its just singers and dancers in the final all the time?"

Another tweeted sarcastically: "The show could do with a few more dance groups and singers on it."

A third viewer added: "Not another dance act," as another tweeted: "Another singer? #yawn."

Tonight’s live result saw Viggo Venn steal the big win and a spot in the final as Johns’ Boys and Olivia Lynes made it to the top three.

It was down to the judges to choose their next finalist with all but Bruno opting to choose Olivia.
