As Ferne McCann's row with Sam Faiers erupts, the most explosive celeb bestie fall-outs – including feud over sex tape | The Sun
WHEN a friendship falls apart in the public eye, it doesn't take long for all the dirty laundry to be aired.
And former Towie pals Ferne McCann and Sam Faiers are sadly learning that the hard way as their reignited spat rumbles on.
Earlier this week, a scathing leaked voicemail went viral, appearing to feature Ferne, 31, speaking about her former best friend.
The voice on the recording is heard saying: “Sam Faiers is a fat c***. Her thighs are so big and I looked really skinny today.”
Sadly, they're not the first celebrity besties to combust in a very public manner.
Here, we take a look at the other bitter fallouts between famous faces.

Charlotte Crosby and Vicky Pattison
When Charlotte Crosby and Vicky Pattison found fame on Geordie Shore, the close-knit pair always appeared to have each other's backs.
But things took a bitter turn in 2018 when they clashed over their rival fitness DVDs, which were released around the same time.
Vicky, 34, who left the show in 2014, accused her former pal of copying her idea.
Things then went from bad to worse with Charlotte, 32, claiming they were never really pals and slamming Vicky for calling Geordie Shore toxic.

Jesy Nelson and Little Mix
After four strangers were put together on the X Factor to form a girl band, they went on to find international fame as Little Mix.
But behind the scenes, the girls were not getting along – with Jesy Nelson struggling to bond with her bandmates.
Things came to a head when she left the band and released her debut single Boyz, which saw her accused of Blackfishing.
Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thrilwall have all publicly remained quiet about the song and the fallout – but it’s been claimed in “leaked DMs” that Leigh-Anne had spurred an influencer on to discuss the blackfishing issue.
Jade later told Stella magazine: "We don’t want to talk about the video, or be critical, but one thing we will clarify regarding the Blackfishing situation is that Jesy was approached by the group in a very friendly, educational manner."
Zayn Malik and Liam Payne
One Direction was another X Factor creation marred by feuding band members – with Liam and Zayn often taking public shots at each other.
After leaving the band in 2015, Zayn called the band's music "generic as f***" and claimed he "never really wanted to be there in the band".
Liam later shot back claiming he dislikes the 29-year-old for "many reasons" on a podcast interview with Logan Paul.
In his interview, he mockingly referred to Zayn as 'Wayne' Malik and appeared to suggest his parents were partially to blame for his questionable behaviour in recent years.
He said: “If I had had to go through what he went through through his growth and whatever else… my parents are overly supportive to the point where it’s annoying at times, and Zayn had a different upbringing in that sense."
Liam, 29, later backtracked on the comments, saying: "Maybe I didn’t articulate myself as well as I could have."
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry
Pop stars Katy and Taylor fell out after the Love Story singer accused her pal of stealing her backing dancers.
It came after the pair had been publicly complementing each other, performing together and generally seeming to be close friends.
Then in 2014 Taylor told Rolling Stone that Bad Blood was about another female pop star who "basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour" by hiring staff "from under me".
Katy seemingly responded with a tweet saying, "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing…" shortly after the piece went live.
The pair eventually buried the feud in 2019 when Katy invited Taylor to her wedding to Orlando Bloom.
Taylor responded in kind by sending Katy a plate of cookies which had "peace at last" written on the plate.
Gemma Collins and Saffron Lempriere
The GC isn't known for holding anything back but when it comes to her fall-out with former pal Saffron, she has remained surprisingly tight-lipped.
The pair used to be extremely close, with Saffron appearing on Gemma's show Diva Espana and later joining Towie just before she left.
Earlier this year, Saffron confirmed the pair had fallen out by telling a fan "eight years was enough" when asked about their friendship.
When another suggested Gemma was the cause of the breakdown, Saffron replied with "Facts".
The reality star also claimed she was treated like a "dogsbody" and that Gemma "lied beyond belief".
She posted: "She thinks she’s in an untouchable bubble the rumours this nutcase said about me, treated me like a dogs body & lied beyond belief nobody knows half."
Gemma has yet to comment on their falling out.
Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker
They might have played best friends on screen, but the reality was anything but.
The animosity between the actresses was so bad that Kim refused to come back for the Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That.
It is alleged the pair fell out over Sarah being paid more money after snagging an executive producer title on the series – leading to Kim negotiating for a better salary unsuccessfully.
In 2009 reports broke that Kim was causing rifts backstage on the film and was making everyone uncomfortable, but Sarah quashed the rumours claiming she "adored" her co-star.
In an interview with Piers Morgan, Kim openly admitted that she was never really friends with her series co-stars. Sarah later said she was "heartbroken" about the comment.
Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie
At one point in the early 2000s, you wouldn't see one without the other and their friendship was the basis of the reality show The Simple Life.
But in 2005 Paris shocked the world when she announced they were no longer friends.
She said: "I will not go into the details of what happened. All I will say is that Nicole knows what she did, and that's all I am ever going to say about it."
Allegedly, Nicole had screened Paris' infamous sex tape at a party to mark her pal's Saturday Night Live gig. Nicole has denied that it happened.
But after two years of throwing shade, Paris claimed she couldn't even remember why they were fighting in the first place.
They then patched things up and Nicole was invited to Paris' wedding and they often gush about each other on their social media.
Elton John and Madona
Elton and Madona are two of the biggest forces in pop music but they reportedly cannot stand each other.
Back in 1995 they appeared to be getting along at the Brits and had just a few catty comments for each other.
However, by 2002 Elton was calling Madonna's James Bond tune, Die Another Day, the worst theme track the franchise had ever had.
In 2004 he alleged Madge lipped synced her songs and later called her a "miserable cow" when she refused to perform at his bachelor party.
