BBC Breakfast's Jon Kay replaced again as familiar face returns to show | The Sun

BBC Breakfast's Jon Kay was replaced again today as afamiliar face returned to the show.

Jon, 53, was missing from the programme on Monday, and he was nowhere to be seen today either.

Jon normally presents BBC Breakfast alongside Sally Nugent but she co-hosted the show with Ben Thompson in his absence.

While Jon's absence wasn't explained, the journalist could be taking some time out for the February half term holidays.

Jon is married to wife Francesca and the couple have three children together.

Meanwhile, Sally, 51, wore a black and red heart print dress in honour of Valentine's Day.

The garment featured long sleeves and a V neckline with a button up front, and Sally accessorised it with a thin belt and a selection of gold necklaces.

But she wasn't the only one to dress in honour of the most romantic day of the year.

Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood also opted for a heart print dress, but hers was black and cream.

Yesterday, Ben and Sally featured a segment about the 1980s, and asked viewers to send in their pictures from the decade.

They proceeded to show pictures of members of the BBC Breakfast team back in the 80s for viewers to guess who was who.

When a dark haired girl in a denim shirt dress popped up, Ben said: "Look at that pose, that's a full 80s pose."

Sally replied: "Do you think that's an 80s pose?"

It was then revealed the picture was of her and she said: "I still love a shirt dress."

Ben joked about her pose: "It's being told you're not allowed to move because the camera won't work if you move."

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
