BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty returns to morning show after mystery illness
BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty has returned to the infamous red sofa after taking most of the week off to recover from an illness.
The 47-year-old presenter typically hosts the BBC show from Thursday to Saturday alongside her loveable co-host Charlie Stayt.
Though Naga was present on Thursday (November 24), Friday saw her replaced by Tina Daheley who took up a place next to Charlie to helm the show.
Luckily, the journalist only needed one day to recover from her spell of illness as she returned to the show looking fighting fit this morning (November 26).
During Saturday’s early broadcast, the raven-haired beauty woke up the nation alongside the 60-year-old presenter as they discussed the biggest stories in the headlines.
One of the biggest stories on everyone’s lips was England’s defeat to the USA last night after the Lions drew nil – nil to the team across the pond in the heart of Qatar.
Now eager football fans are holding out hope that they can take home a win ahead of an upcoming match against Wales next week.
