A BELOVED Channel 5 farming show is making an epic return next week – with a special extended run.

The network has a number of farming shows on its roster, including Our Yorkshire Farm and Our Family Farm Rescue with Adam Henson.

There is also Springtime on the Farm, hosted by Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson.

The show tweaks its name depending on the time of year, and was last on screen as Winter on the Farm in early December.

The programme usually airs across consecutive nights for one week, but the new series of Springtime on the Farm will be extended for an epic two week run.

Helen and Jules are also joined by Adam Henson on the sixth series, and will include Royal visits and famous faces helping on the farm.

Springtime is an important time in the farming calendar as farmers race to bring new life into the world.

The Channel 5 show's cameras will be on hand ready to catch the arrivals of lambs, piglets and all sorts of other farm animals.

Countryfile star Adam will be on his own farm preparing to deliver hundreds of lambs, meanwhile Helen and Jules will be at Cannon Hall Farm in South Yorkshire helping the Nicholson family with their arrivals.

The show has also been granted an exclusive tour of Princess Anne's farm in Gloucestershire and the rare breeds she keeps there.
