Ben Shephard breaks silence on claims Matt Hancock will host Good Morning Britain after quitting politics | The Sun

BEN Shephard has reacted to claims that MP Matt Hancock will host Good Morning Britain after quitting politics.

The regular host broke his silence as odds of the former health secretary being in the hot seat hit 2/1, according to William Hill.

Speaking on Friday's GMB, Ben said: "We know that he won’t stand in the next election."

"There’s been pretty short odds that he’s going to be hosting Good Morning Britain in the near future."

He added: "I’m intrigued to understand what Matt Hancock thinks is the opportunity…

"The transition from parliamentarian, from MP, from cabinet minister into a media life is not a simple transition just because he’s had a go on a reality TV show."
