Britain's Got Talent fans were convinced they “worked out” illusionist Enzo Weyne's magic trick as the live semi-finals kicked off this evening.

The 32-year-old illusionist had left everyone on the edge of their seats with his “disturbing” trick during his audition, but viewers were quick to point out how he performed the illusion of host Dec's disappearance.

One viewer took to Twitter, stating: "Trap door and Enzo cleverly takes attention of the audience. #bgt."

Another disgruntled viewer expressed their dissatisfaction, saying” "Rubbish magician. Very dark under the box – easy for people to move in and out. #bgt."

Other chimed, in claiming they also had spotted a trap door for Dec to slip into.

“Heard Bruno talking about a trapdoor about half way through,” one fan added.

Another questioned: “Did anyone else just hear Bruno say about Dec going down the trapdoor.”

“Trapdoor and Dec is in on it. Easy #BGT,” penned a third.

The judges however were blown away by the performance, heaping praise on the star for his trick.

Judge Amanda Holden even dubbed him “fit and French” boosting his ego further.

Tonight's semi-final also featured other impressive acts, including Gamal John, who amazed the judges with his rendition of the James Brown classic It's A Man's Man's World.

27-year-old Musa Motha earned a special golden buzzer from the whole panel after wowing with his incredible dance routine.

The dancer, who in his audition explained that he had his leg amputated after being diagnosed with cancer, performed a stunning contemporary routine to Runnin’ (Lose It All) by Naughty Boy ft. Beyoncé & Arrow Benjamin.

Alesha Dixon expressed her admiration, stating: "That was one of the most extraordinary auditions I think I've ever seen on this show.

“I have so much admiration for you and what you've been through."

Bruno also praised the performance, adding: "That was exceptional!"

Joining them in tonight's lineup were ukelele musician and school teacher Abi Carter-Simpson, comedian Ichikawa Koikuchi, sunbed receptionist-turned-singer Amy Lou, the Parkour Collective, and ballroom and Latin group United 2 Dance.

Simon stunned fans when he commented on the dance act telling them they were “better” than rival show Strictly Come Dancing saying it was “nice to have people who can actually dance on talent shows.”

All the acts are vying for the chance to win a life-changing £250,000 and a spot on the Royal Variety Show. As Simon Cowell and fellow judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and Bruno Tonioli welcome the talented wannabes.
