Britain's Got Talent presenter Ant McPartlin issued a warning to fans as one contestant proceeded to set Simon Cowell on fire.

The hit ITV talent show returned to screens on Sunday (May 14) after being moved from its usual time slot on Saturday to avoid a clash with the Eurovision final.

During the episode, judges Simon, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli watched as the silent Miki Dark appeared on stage in front of them wearing a black hood.

The 57-year-old's face was covered in white makeup and left him looking incredibly sinister as he stared at the panel with black circles around his eyes.

After making his way down to the judges, Miki escorted Simon back onto the stage and tied him to a chair.

He then put a black bag over the 63-year-old's head before covering it in lighter fuel and placing a box on top.

Warning viewers, Ant exclaimed: "Do not try this at home!"

As the performer lit two matches and dropped them onto the box, the audience erupted with screams as the X Factor star remained bound to the chair.

The four judges looked on in pure horror but much to their surprise, Miki removed the box and Simon was perfectly fine.

As he made his way back to the panel, he told his fellow judges: "That was the worst feeling."

"He set your head on fire," Amanda told Simon as she explained: "He covered you in lighter fluid."

Sharing her thoughts on the "scary" performance, Amanda said: "It was massively entertaining and horrific all at once."

The 52-year-old joked: "For the amount of product that's in that hair, that was a risk" as she pointed at Simon.

Alesha said the audition was "very good" while former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno admitted he'd never seen anything like it before.

Miki, who also appeared on America's Got Talent, received a yes from each judge before he walked off stage without saying anything.
