Billy is missing from Lola's emotional funeral in EastEnders
Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) was left completely devastated by the loss of granddaughter Lola Pearce in EastEnders, and things won’t get any easier as her funeral approaches.
Lola died in heart breaking scenes following a difficult battle with a brain tumour.
Since then, the family have tried to band together to support each other, despite each person facing their own individual struggles.
In upcoming scenes, struggling Billy attempts to distract himself by throwing all of his energy into funeral preparations, but things soon become too much for him during a tense meeting with the reverend.
Things only get worse as Billy lashes out at Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton), ranting and railing about his disgust for the way the Mitchell’s treated Lola in the past.

Having stormed out after his outburst, Honey later finds him all alone outside the funeral parlour.
Determined to help him through his grief, she encourages him to say a final goodbye to Lola ahead of the funeral.
However, it becomes clear the next day that Billy still hasn’t come to terms with his loss, when he fails to appear on the day of the funeral.
Will he really miss his opportunity to lay his granddaughter to rest, or will the family rally to track him down?
Elsewhere, Lola’s coffin arrives in the Square, adorned with flowers and colourful, heartfelt messages from her friends and loved ones.
As the ceremony gets underway, it is clear that it is a celebration of Lola’s life, with both Jay and Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown) giving emotional speeches in honour of her.
Will Billy make it?
