Carol Kirkwood leaves Naga Munchetty in stitches with weather joke
BBC Breakfast: Carol leaves Naga in stitches
There’s always camaraderie between Carol Kirkwood and Naga Munchetty on BBC Breakfast and Thursday morning was no different. Knowing Naga may tease her about the cities she gave a weather report for, Carol jumped in to explain she couldn’t share the forecast for everywhere in the UK. Her cheeky swipe thrilled Naga, who was seen doubled over laughing.
Carol concluded her weather report by predicting temperatures in major cities such as Edinburgh, Belfast, Cardiff, and London.
She told Naga and Charlie Stayt: “Sadly I don’t have enough space to put everywhere on my charts.”
Naga burst out laughing as all she could reply was “Carol” before falling forward giggling.
“The point is Carol can’t have every city up on the weather board,” Charlie explained.
But Naga laughed: “She just knew she was going to be asked so she knew she had to have that.”
Carol covered her face with her hands as she chuckled at Naga’s reaction.
“Up and down the country, Carol, thank you very much, see you later,” the presenter said.
While Naga tried to compose herself, Charlie was ever the professional as he quickly move the conversation along.
Elsewhere on BBC Breakfast, presenter Tim Muffett was out in South West London with Ainsley Harriott to find out how communities are they celebrating the Big Lunch.
The Big Lunch was a concept introduced by the Eden Project, which encourages neighbours to have lunch together in June.
As they looked to speak to neighbours already out on the street, Ainsley decided to start knocking on doors.
Tim was reporting back to Naga and Charlie, when they pointed out someone had shut the door behind him.

“Oh, Ainsley has gone in, he’s really just gone right in,” Charlie remarked as he has been invited inside.
Tim exclaimed: “He’s gone in? He’s gone in,” as Naga laughed: “He makes friends very, very quickly.”
The presenter looked mortified as he realised he had been left outside alone, with Charlie teasing: “You’re feeling left out, Tim?”
BBC Breakfast airs daily on BBC One from 6am.
