Carol Vorderman revealed she auditioned for Celebrity Naked Attraction but joked she "wasn't booked" for the Channel 4 show.
The Countdown star featured on Friday's programme of This Morning (January 6) where Gyles Brandreth and her laughed about going on the show together.
Talking to ITV hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, Gyles said: " When we went to the audition together, we went for Celebrity Naked Attraction. We did the pilot…"

Carol then interrupted in fits of giggles: "And then we weren't booked."
Gyles then went on to say: "I had the idea, never mind a middle-aged Love Island, how about an OAP Love Island?"

This came after the four were discussing the potential of a new version of Love Island where middle-aged contestants with varied lives would go on the show to look for love.
The hosts even suggested Carol should go on there and Dermot joked she would steal all the hearts of the male stars.
This followed the studio being left in stitches while discussing Prince Harry losing his virginity and his 'frost-bitten penis'.
Harry has appeared to reveal all in his new book titled Spare.
Snippets of the book were discussed on the ITV show which the group found very funny indeed.
Gyles then spoke about the chapter where Harry suffered from frostbite in his "nether regions".
He told the hosts: "What a night I had with the Spanish dictionary I was trying to find a frostbitten penis – he was in the Antarctic – his penis became frostbitten and I translated it from the Spanish dictionary."
