They searched for air-looms at Jackie's mother-in-law Winnie's home in a bid to raise £1,000 to put towards a pageant dress for Julie's daughter Daisy, who's just qualified for the final of Miss Teen GB.

However, things took a bizarre turn when retired NHS physio Jackie revealed she was looking forward to meeting television presenter Jules.

She said: "I quite like like Jules. He's a true gentleman.

"I thought it was a woman," travel consultant Julie replied

Luckily, Jules hadn't got to their property before Julie dropped the bombshell.

The couple walked away from the show with a whopping £1,864.

Cash in the Attic finally returned to our screens on Monday (August 1) after almost a decade off air.

The popular auction series originally ran on the BBC from 2002 until 2012.

It now has a new home on Channel 5 will former host Jules back presenting the show alongside new host and former professional footballer Chris Kamara.

During Monday's debut episode, Chris and expert appraiser Paul Hayes visited Ian and his stepson Bradley in Leamington Spa.

The family live in Ian’s late parents’ house which they’ve been renovating for the last couple of years.

There was no shortage of stuff for Kammy and Paul to rummage through.

While appraiser Paul was slightly off with his estimation the pair walked away with over £4,000.

Opening up about filming the show, Chris Kamara said: "The auctions have been a lot of fun.
