Chris Eubank's appearance on Celebrity Masterchef appears to have frustrated viewers who claimed the show is a "fix" after he received a substantial amount of help.

However, other contestants including Cliff Parisi and Melanie Blatt were largely left to fend for themselves during the challenge which saw them making their own pasta while being timed.

Chris, 56, was offered assistance by John Torode and Greg Wallace during the heated round leaving fans at home in fits of rage.

Greg Wallace also made a comment on this as he said: "You got a bit of instruction but you did it, well done."

He continued: "I think Chris' inexperience showed there, he did get a bit of help but he perseveres, he gets the job done."

However, the boxing legend also acknowledged the help he received as he reflected on the challenge.

"I'm feeling stupendous, with their help, they got me through," he said before adding: "On a scale of one to ten, I'd give it an eight, yeah."

Taking to Twitter, one said: "If Chris Eubank doesn't go tonight it's a fix!#CelebrityMasterChef."

"Why are they basically doing the task for him?! #celebritymasterchef," added a second.

Before a third tweeted: "#CelebrityMasterchef Nice one, just tell Chris exactly what to do!!"

Another raged: "Funnily enough, they're not helping Cliff but told Chris Eubank what to do. Fix! #celebritymasterchef."

"Don't know about doing well on the judge's scorecard, but the judges are doing well for him #eubank #celebritymasterchef," commented another.

This, however, isn't the only thing that has angered viewers of the BBC One competition this week after John Torode "stole" Greg Wallace's catchphrase.

Speaking to the camera, John praised the hitmaker for the idea but stressed she'd need to ensure that she had a "buttery biscuit base".

After hearing the three words from Greg Wallace's Buttery Biscuit Base mash-up that went viral several years ago, online users went wild.

However, many fans were unhappy that John had stolen Greg's thunder.

One person penned: "OI Torode! Only Gregg can say 'buttery biscuit base' #MasterChef."

A second echoed: "Wait did John just say buttery biscuit base."

While a third chimed in: "No John didn't just say buttery biscuit base #MasterChef."
