Channel 4 issues apology to viewers over major Celebrity Gogglebox blunder
Channel 4 bosses were no doubt left red-faced after the broadcaster was forced to issue an apology to viewers over a technical issue.
Fans tuning in on Friday night (July 21) to get their Celebrity Gogglebox and The Last Leg fix were left rather disappointed.
The two shows were affected by a glitch – meaning those trying to watching online were not able to access them.

Channel 4 were quick to notice the blunder and issued an apology to its loyal legion of viewers.
A spokesman wrote on Twitter: "We’re aware of technical difficulties which means tonight’s News, Gogglebox & The Last Leg won’t be available on our on-demand streaming service.
“Sorry about that but rest assured we’re working hard to fix it and normal service should resume by tomorrow.”
In a further tweet, Channel 4 added: “Those shows should still be available on normal live TV though, so you don't have to miss them."
Gogglebox was back with its celebrity edition of the show on Friday, with stars including Nick Grimshaw, Sam Ryder and Judi Love all taking to their sofas to share their thoughts on the latest bits of telly.
However, some fans of the Channel 4 series have not been impressed by the latest star-studded series.
Within minutes of the episode airing, viewers were left pining for the original version of Gogglebox.
Seconds into the show airing, one viewer wrote on Twitter: "
Rushing to Twitter, one m person said: “I’ve got to say I prefer civilian Gogglebox to Celebrity Gogglebox, just doesn't feel the same."
A second chimed in and proclaimed: “Celebrity Gogglebox is pants compared to the proper one."

Someone else agreed: “I prefer the normal person version, but a lot of people seem to prefer the celebrity version.”
While others were than happy to see their favourite Channel 4 show back on their TV screens.
“Gogglebox is just amazing telly,” gushed one person, while another quipped: "Time for the always delightful Gogglebox. It's still so fascinating how watching a show about people simply watching TV can be so strangely addictive."
